Everyone has vision, whether it be through their eyes, their heart or their imagination. We dream of the future, reminisce about the past and live in the present. The art of photography is more than capturing and preserving a moment in time, it’s about evoking an emotion, speaking to the viewer in a language more powerful than words. There is an intrinsic beauty in each and every moment of our lives. The wonder of a breathtaking landscape, the spontaneous joy of a candid portrait, the stoic presence of a man-made structure or the power of nature. It takes a true artist to capture and present these fleeting moments in such a way that they speak volumes without saying a word. I only hope that someday I will be such an artist, but for right now I’m having the time of my life giving it a try.
